Welcome to A & L Products Inc. This is a preliminary
introduction to some of our many product lines. Although there are hundreds
of standard units available, A & L Products will be glad to design
a unit around your specific needs! This means we will not only consider
the appearance, but the engineering and budget. We actually do have a viable
solution to fill your needs. Let us design this unit for you . Whether
you need one unit, or one hundred units, we can help you. We also have
sides, clear windows, screens, doors, and other options available.
All units come complete with all parts, including frame,
tarp, and tie downs. We are using standard pipe sizes, so you may elect
to purchase the unit as a kit (without the pipe). You can then acquire
the pipe locally, which will save on the shipping charges and the actual
cost of the pipe.
All of our tents are FREE-SPAN STEEL FRAME (no center
poles; steel framework) construction. Both the frame and vinyl fabric parts
are computer designed in our plant to meet the required specifications.
This makes it possible to create the exact design you need, the first time,
every time! In addition, many of the systems are modular in construction.
By using A & L Products' exclusive modular design, your system can
and will grow with your ever changing needs!
Models
There are over 2,000 models available! We have a size
and style to fit each specific need. This means it is not necessary to
buy a unit that is too large or complex for your needs, or too small to
be useful. We manufacture tents, awnings, canopies, fair booths, cabanas,
modular expandable rental systems, portable modular buildings, and large
modular warehouse structures. We will design a unit around your exact needs
and budget. For example, if your project requires, we can even meet the
"uniform building code" requirements! So, however small or large your requirements
are, we have a viable and economical solution waiting for you! Also, because
many of the units are modular, you do not need to just buy a specific unit,
but you can buy a system that changes when your needs change! This makes
it possible for you to buy a smaller unit, and add to it as your needs
or budget allows, until your system is complete! Your A & L Products

Graphics
We have a full graphics department to serve your needs.
We have a complete computerized sign facility, including a 24" sign plotter
and full distortion and shaping programs. Send us your artwork and we will
digitize it and put your logo on your tent or banner!
Framing
For most units, the frame is constructed of steel
tubing, and is put together using A & L Products' exclusive modular
connector system. We produce over 4,500 different welded steel connectors
for ½" to 4" steel or aluminum pipe. Some of the structures we are
building are designed to meet the "uniform building code" requirements.
Therefore, we are required to maintain our own "certified" welding shop.
This means the structural design and workmanship of our modular connectors
is of course, the very finest quality possible. Normally we can actually
ship almost any configuration that you may require the same day! Most of
the custom, or more complicated configurations, can be shipped within a
few days.
Fabric
The fabric consists of a PVC vinyl material that is
reinforced with polyester cord, and is manufactured with fire retardant
chemicals and ultraviolet inhibitors. This helps protect the fabric from
fading or damage caused by exposure to the sun. This fabric is constructed
of two layers of vinyl on the outside, and a layer of polyester tire cord
in the center. By using this composite construction technique, the fabric
is very strong and also light weight. The vinyl material comes with an
attached F. R. Label. In addition, if it is required you can request a
fire certificate, this will supply the proof necessary for the Fire Marshal.
The fabric is electronically heat seamed together to make the required
sizes and shapes needed, and therefore is much stronger than if it were
sewn. Heat sealing also eliminates any leaking that would occur with sewing.
Fabric of this type is available in many different colors
to fit your needs.
Assembly
The tents are designed to be put up easily. Just lay
the parts on the ground and assemble them. Then attach the tarp to the
frame, and place the legs under the roof and secure it to the ground. When
storing or moving the unit, the tarp, connectors, and tie downs fit in
a small box, that leaves just a small bundle of various lengths of straight
pipe.
